Following TP’s launch in July 2012, TP has grown from a quarterly journal to a bimonthly journal since July 2019. TP is a member of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and follows the ICMJE recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing, and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journal and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE)'s guidelines. Meanwhile, as a high-quality academic exchange platform, we are committed to publishing articles quickly, allowing for impactful and potentially practice-changing articles to be available to readers as soon as possible after acceptance. Therefore, we are delighted to inform you that TP will become a monthly publication beginning in January 2021. This shortened publication cycle will allow authors to get their work published faster and have their latest research available to clinicians in translational pediatrics sooner.
TP is indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE, 2019 IF: 2.286), PubMed/PubMed Central, and Scopus. We welcome all article types, especially novel original research articles and high-impact reviews in all aspects of health care in newborns, children and adolescents. Contributions pertinent to pediatrics are also included from related fields such as nutrition, surgery, respiration, dentistry, urology, public health, child health services, human genetics, basic sciences, psychology, psychiatry, education, sociology, and nursing.
We strive to follow the best practices in publishing and look forward to the continuous cooperation with all our Editorial Team Members, Guest Editors, authors, reviewers and those who are interested in translational pediatrics to bring more exciting content to readers in the coming future.
