New Impact Factor for Translational Pediatrics: 2

We are pleased to announce that the Translational Pediatrics (TP) has attained its new impact factor update for the 2022 citation year: 2.

Translational Pediatrics (Transl Pediatr, TP, Print ISSN 2224-4336, Online ISSN 2224-4344) is an open access, peer-reviewed, monthly journal (quarterly published from Jul. 2012 - Oct. 2019, bimonthly published from Dec. 2019 - Dec. 2020).

Translational Pediatrics 2022 CiteScore Released: 3.7

We are pleased to announce that the Translational Pediatrics (TP) has received its 2022 CiteScore: 3.7, ranking 95 out of 306 journals in the Pediatrics, Perinatology and Child Health category.

Furthermore, we are delighted to highlight the remarkable achievements made by all AME journals in the CiteScore ranking.

Prof. Yu-Jia Yang will no longer serve as the Editor-in-Chief of Translational Pediatrics

With much gratitude, we announce that the term of Yu-Jia Yang, MD, PhD, as Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of Translational Pediatrics, is ending, effective today.

Since 2012, Prof. Yang has led the journal in its mission to promote scientific discovery and knowledge in all aspects of health care in newborns, children and adolescents.

Announcement of TP New Co-Editor-in-Chief

The editorial office is pleased to announce that Dr. Antonio F. Corno is taking over as the Co-Editor-in-Chief of Translational Pediatric (TP) in tandem with Dr. Yu-Jia Yang, effective from May 25, 2023. Please join us in wishing Dr. Corno all the best in his new role!

Pediatric Heart

This column on "Pediatric Heart" is edited by Dr. Antonio F. Corno from Politecnico di Milano, Italy and Dr. Jorge D. Salazar from UTHealth Houston Children’s Heart Institute, USA. The purpose is to offer to the researchers and clinicians involved with the cardiac care in children a dedicated column where to submit the results of their studies, considering that the publications related to pediatric heart issues generally end up on journal with mixed contents of adult and pediatric specialties, often with cardiovascular and thoracic articles.

Fetal Surgery

The field of fetal therapy has, by necessity, always involved innovation. This series describes the current state of fetal therapy but also highlights the dramatic innovations that are taking place across the field. Fetal therapy, which began in a few labs most prominently in San Francisco, is now a mature multi-dimensional field. Therapy is offered all over the world and innovation with rigorous study, trials and continued collaboration are clearly the path forward.

Pre-natal Diagnosis in Congenital Heart Defects

The purpose of this series on “pre-natal diagnosis in congenital heart defects” is to collect and share with the readers of “Translational Pediatrics” the current state-of-the-art knowledge on the topic, with the updated information provided by the world experts in this matter.
