Dr. Sapna Kudchadkar currently is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine (ACCM), Pediatrics, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kudchadkar is the Associate Vice Chair for ACCM Research, and is board certified in Pediatrics, Anesthesiology, Pediatric Critical Care and Pediatric Anesthesiology. Her primary research focus is the interplay of sedation, sleep, delirium and acute rehabilitation on outcomes in critically ill children.
Dr. Kudchadkar received the Sommer Scholar Award from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and has been funded by the NIH, Donaghue Foundation, American Thoracic Society, and the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research. She is the PI of a 200 site international point prevalence study of acute rehabilitation in critically ill children and a multicenter stepped-wedge cluster RCT of a PICU rehabilitation intervention.
