Title: Squirrel

Cover story: “Squirrel” is a work of art with 55cm high and 45cm wide, painting with oil pastel. Squirrel is one of my favorite animals. Last year, I went to New York with my parents to live for a period of time. In the Central Park, I saw many little squirrels. They are very flexible, lovely, and good at climbing trees. They like eating pine nuts and acorns best with both hands holding them, just like a child. There are a lot of pine nuts and acorns in the park. I often say to my father that the little squirrels here are the happiest because they have endless food. This piece is a record of my wonderful time in the Central Park.

Artist: Qian-Xi Li, a seven years old boy. He especially loves painting and reading comic books. In addition, Li also enjoys making crafts, English and music. His dream is to be a doctor who can help others when he grows up.
