Title: My Father, Old Zhong

Cover story: Created in preparation for Father’s Day, the artwork My Father, Old Zhong took approximately two hours to complete. At the heart of the picture stands my father—glasses on his face and a coat on his shoulders—as the central focus. Surrounding him are warm, vivid elements: a bright sun shining overhead, fluffy clouds drifting by, tall green trees standing tall, colorful flowers in full bloom, and a lovely heart inscribed with “Happy Father’s Day”. Every hue and shape in these details is a reflection of my true feelings, filling the entire work with my deep love and sincere admiration for him.

Artist: Zhong Huanzai, an 8-year-old boy, studies in Class 2, Grade 3 of Shenyang Road Primary School, Jiang’an District, Wuhan. He has a strong passion for drawing and roller-skating. As a squad committee member of the Young Pioneers in his class, he actively participates in school activities and expresses his emotions through drawing.
